(PL) Data premiery albumu „Socha” to 22 marca 2024.

(ENG) The release date of "Socha" album is March 22, 2024. Vinyls and CDs will be availible after this date.
Czarnoziem is a duo created by Dawid Dąbrowski (modular synthesiser) and Michał Giżycki (bass clarinet, saxophones).
Using the possibilities of a wide genre spectrum - from experimental electronics, improvised music to echoes of free jazz and contemporary electroacoustic music - the duo creates their own independent narrative language.
An intensive process of rehearsals, sessions and concerts has clarified their sound and steered them towards deeper communication and textural clarity. As a result, the musicians have developed a common creative dimension in which they create coherent structures and dynamics.
Without sacrificing their individuality, the duo inspire each other in sound, narrative and expression. From stillness, sonoristic minimalism, through dense magma drones, enigmatic melodic lines to wild noise and ecstatic free.

One of a kind, truly a beautiful album that leaves me with a feeling of anemoia, and deep sadness for my brothers and sisters in Ukraine.
I can't understand a word and yet I can feel the soul that went into each of these masterpieces.
I recommend you check out his other works and his website because Ihor is a modern day genius in my opinion. Coloco
"The war rages now! Menacing murder machines, the constant rumble of helicopters, rockets, tanks and machine guns. Violent mayhem, dislocation, Death. The disturbing centerpiece of this album knows no mercy and it feels as if even if it wanted to spare you it couldn't, because the mission of this war report is too urgent, the reality too dire to shy away from."
